well today was a somewhat productive day.
this weekend in fact, i've done a large chunk of my data project, data review, bio stuff, unfortunately not english and not that much piano, however! i feel quite accomplished. and it is currently not even 10:30 :)
just to talk about the past few days, i emailed Upper Canada Camp and the lady there, Ruth, found my Bible and pens somewhere in the lodge. she's holding them for me and says i can go whenever i can to pick them up! that makes me really happy :) i think my parents are okay with going up there, but we'll see... Walnut23 says we can go on a road trip when he is back from HK! hahaha, Almond12 should come along. then it'll certainly be a nutty adventure! :D (oh gosh.)
aanyhow. im just gonna come straight out and say it.
i've been pretty burnt out. well, only recently did i realize it, but now that i think of it, i really AM burnt out. from what? from everything. more specifically, Didomi, i guess. don't get me wrong, i love serving but i guess that everyone has those "down" times and right now it is certainly my down time. there are many reasons i suppose, including taking too much responsibility and doing things my way, not God's way. okay so maybe not to the far extent, but i think that it's just been like, i don't do everything for God but more for the fellowship or for others or for myself, the way i think that things are supposed to be. right now, im trying to take a step back and let things go as they go. take a look at how Didomi has grown. i gotta say, i am really happy to see how things have changed. there's been tough spots here and there but there is a LOT of potential everywhere... even some of the gr 12's are coming out of their shells. it's never too late to serve God.
no challenge for today's post. but, yeah, i hope that through this, i will be able to fan the embers that are still there to make a full, passionate fire for the remainder of the year. it'll take time for sure but it will come.

i agree. its good to take a step back and see the change in anything or anyone.
don't worry, im sure you'll be able to keep the fire burning, we're all part of what makes the fire burn as well . Together i think we can actually get the fire to burn brighter and brighter : ) .
