today, Dan and Michelle left for Indonesia.
i really miss them, i honestly do. i also really miss VBS and young handy persons camp and everything about my summer, which revolved around church. *sigh*
reflection time.
what did i do over the summer? what did i achieve? how did i grow? what did i get out of it all?
i learned to love,
i learned how to make actions to songs,
i learned how to be SUPER ENERGETIC,
i learned to be patient,
i learned to be forgiving,
i learned to lead,
i learned to be non-judgmental,
i learned how to truly pray,
i learned to drink caffeine before worship sessions,
i learned to let go and move on,
i learned how to bus to church :D,
i learned how to listen to God,
and
so
much
more.
it's so important to pray. i think that's one of the top things i improved on this summer :)
pray for Dan and Michelle in Indonesia,
pray for the kids that went to the camps at church
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" Phil. 4:6

but again, one of the things i learned this summer was to let go and move on...
God has bigger and better plans for us :)

interesting post. I hope i'm not being creepy or anything but i'm putting in a bit of effort to get to know the youth around the church and you seem like someone i should get to know.

sidenote: why not simply pray until God answers? He could just say, "No", at which point nothing will happen so why keep praying? I guess the acronym would be a bit lame. PUGA doesn't have the same ring. :D
